What This Role Involves

You'll manage the settlement lifecycle for personal injury cases, from initial negotiation through final closing. Your expertise in medical lien reduction and settlement coordination will be essential to resolving cases efficiently while ensuring all parties—clients, providers, and insurance carriers—understand their obligations and timelines. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is critical for this Miami Lakes role, where you'll represent the firm's commitment to accessible, clear legal communication.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Negotiate and resolve medical liens with healthcare providers to reduce claim costs and accelerate settlement finalization
• Coordinate settlement agreements between clients, insurance adjusters, and opposing counsel
• Communicate directly with clients in English and Spanish regarding case status, settlement terms, and next steps
• Liaison with medical providers and insurance companies to gather documentation and confirm settlement amounts
• Prepare settlement closing documents and ensure compliance with fund disbursement requirements
• Track timelines and deadlines to keep cases moving toward resolution

Requirements

• Proven experience negotiating medical liens and coordinating settlements
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal
• Strong communication skills with clients, healthcare providers, and insurance representatives
• Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize competing deadlines
