About the Role

As a Clinical Research Scientist - I you will work within a multidisciplinary team to advance early‑stage research projects that contribute to the pipeline of therapeutic candidates. The position involves hands‑on laboratory work, data generation, and documentation that aligns with good clinical and laboratory practices.

What You'll Do

• Design and execute experiments to evaluate the efficacy and safety of antiviral compounds.
• Prepare and maintain cell cultures, perform viral assays, and analyze results using standard laboratory equipment.
• Compile detailed experimental records, generate reports, and present findings to project leads.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory guidelines, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups including chemistry, toxicology, and clinical operations to integrate data.
• Participate in troubleshooting assay variability and implementing process improvements.
• Stay current with scientific literature and emerging techniques relevant to antiviral research.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Microbiology, or a related life‑science field; a Master’s is a plus.
• 0‑2 years of hands‑on laboratory experience in academic, biotech, or pharmaceutical settings.
• Proficiency with molecular biology techniques (PCR, cloning, western blot) and cell‑culture methods.
• Familiarity with assay development, data analysis software (e.g., GraphPad Prism, Excel), and basic statistical interpretation.
• Understanding of GCP, GLP, or GMP principles as they apply to early‑stage research.
• Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate laboratory notebooks.
• Effective communication skills for presenting data and working collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to follow written protocols, adapt to changing priorities, and contribute to a productive lab culture.
