Preschool Assistant Teacher – Young Explorers

About This Position

We're seeking a dedicated and caring Assistant Teacher to support our preschool classroom in Twinsburg. You'll work alongside experienced educators to create a nurturing environment where young learners develop confidence, curiosity, and essential skills. As part of the BrightPath Early Learning & Child Care team, you'll be instrumental in making every day meaningful for our students and their families.

Your Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in planning and delivering developmentally appropriate learning activities for preschool-age children
• Create and maintain a safe, organized, and engaging classroom environment
• Support children's social, emotional, and academic growth through positive interaction and guidance
• Help with classroom transitions, routines, and daily activities including meals and rest time
• Observe and record children's progress and development to inform instruction
• Communicate with families about their child's experiences, growth, and milestones
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and ensure materials are well-organized and accessible
• Follow center safety protocols and policies to protect all children in your care
