Kitchen Designer

Home Depot is seeking a Kitchen Designer to join our team in Quincy, Norfolk County. In this full-time position, you'll work directly with customers to transform their kitchen and bathroom spaces through thoughtful design consultation, product expertise, and professional guidance.

About This Position

As a Kitchen Designer at Home Depot, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to homeowners embarking on their kitchen and bath renovation journeys. This role combines creative problem-solving with customer service excellence, helping clients visualize their ideal spaces and navigate the decision-making process from concept to completion. You'll leverage our design tools and showroom environment to deliver personalized consultations that bring customers' visions to life.

Your Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage customers with genuine interest in their kitchen and bath design needs
• Conduct consultations to understand project goals, preferences, and budget requirements
• Guide customers through the complete design process with confidence and clarity
• Present curated product selections at multiple price points and quality levels
• Provide expert recommendations on materials, fixtures, installation options, and design trends
• Share samples and visual aids to help customers make informed decisions
• Utilize design software and showroom displays to create compelling project concepts
• Document customer preferences and project specifications for accurate ordering and installation

Who We're Looking For

• Strong communication skills with the ability to listen actively and ask clarifying questions
• Customer service experience demonstrating patience, professionalism, and attention to detail
• Sales ability combined with a genuine desire to help customers succeed with their projects
• Familiarity with kitchen and bath design, products, or home improvement (preferred but not required)
• Ability to learn and master design tools and systems quickly
• A collaborative mindset and comfort working in a team environment
