Asset Protection Specialist

Home Depot is hiring a full-time Asset Protection Specialist in Moreno Valley, Riverside County. You'll join our loss prevention team to protect company assets, detect theft and fraud, and help maintain a secure shopping environment across store locations.

About the Role

As an Asset Protection Specialist at Home Depot, you'll serve as a key member of our loss prevention operation. You'll use surveillance technology, data analysis, and investigative methods to identify and address security risks. This role supports both our security objectives and our commitment to maintaining compliance with safety and environmental standards at our Moreno Valley store locations.

What You'll Do

• Monitor retail operations to detect potential theft or fraudulent activity
• Review surveillance video and transaction reports to investigate discrepancies
• Analyze exception reports and loss data to identify patterns and trends
• Conduct thorough investigations and document findings with precision
• Support safety and environmental compliance programs
• Collaborate with store management and team members on loss prevention initiatives
• Maintain detailed records of security incidents and investigation outcomes

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience
• Strong analytical abilities and skill in recognizing data and behavioral patterns
• Exceptional attention to detail and observational awareness
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable, consistent work ethic and team collaboration
• Flexibility to work varying schedules including evenings and weekends
• Willingness to pass background screening and security clearance requirements
• Valid driver's license preferred
