As an Asset Protection Specialist, you're the frontline defense against theft, fraud, and financial loss. Working full-time in our retail store environment, you'll combine vigilance, investigative thinking, and problem-solving skills to identify and prevent incidents that impact operations and profitability. Your work directly supports Home Depot's commitment to operational integrity and creating a safe, compliant workplace for all.

What You'll Do

• Monitor store operations using CCTV systems and surveillance tools to identify suspicious activity and potential theft or fraud
• Review exception reports and transaction data to pinpoint patterns and investigate irregularities
• Conduct thorough investigations into suspected loss incidents, documenting findings and coordinating with store management
• Support store compliance with safety protocols and environmental program requirements
• Implement and reinforce loss prevention strategies and best practices across assigned store locations
• Respond promptly to incidents, maintain accurate records, and prepare reports for management review
• Collaborate with store leadership to build and maintain a culture of accountability and integrity

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong observational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and respond calmly to incidents
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Comfort with CCTV systems, computer applications, and data review
• Commitment to ethical conduct and strict adherence to company policies
• Retail, security, or loss prevention experience is a plus
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed
