Fairstead ESC is seeking a skilled and reliable Service Technician to maintain and support our residential properties across the region. In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our communities running smoothly and ensuring residents have safe, well-maintained homes. You'll respond to maintenance requests, diagnose equipment issues, perform repairs, and coordinate with contractors when needed. What You'll Do
- Respond to maintenance requests and work orders across assigned properties
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building systems, appliances, and equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance to extend asset life and reduce emergency repairs
- Document all work completed, including materials used and time spent
- Maintain a clean, organized work environment and follow safety protocols
- Communicate professionally with residents and coordinate with vendors and contractors
- Identify and report safety hazards or code violations
What We're Looking For
- Technical expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, or general building maintenance
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
- Attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Relevant certifications (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) are a plus
