About the Role

The Registered Nurse (RN) ACE program is a dedicated pathway for new graduates transitioning from nursing education to independent clinical practice. You'll work in a supportive environment with experienced nursing mentors, applying evidence-based practice and the nursing process to deliver quality care. This role emphasizes both patient safety and your professional development as you establish your foundation in acute care nursing.

What You'll Do

• Deliver patient care through systematic data collection, comprehensive assessment, and application of the nursing process
• Identify, prioritize, and address patients' healthcare needs and problems using clinical judgment
• Plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve optimal patient outcomes and satisfaction
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, treatment plans, and self-care strategies
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate comprehensive care
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and report significant changes to the care team
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, comply with hospital standards, and support a safe care environment

What We're Looking For

• Current RN licensure in Kentucky or eligibility for immediate state licensure
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN or ADN)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with patients, families, and colleagues
• Dedication to patient safety, clinical excellence, and continuous professional growth
• Ability to function effectively in a dynamic healthcare environment
