Energy Manager – Power Supply

Meta is hiring an Energy Manager - Power Supply to lead our demand flexibility and grid strategy initiatives across our global data center portfolio in Pierre, Hughes County. About the Role

Our data centers form the backbone of Meta's global infrastructure, delivering reliable, efficient power to support billions of users worldwide. As Energy Manager - Power Supply, you'll develop and execute commercial and technical strategies that optimize our energy systems and strengthen our relationships with power suppliers and grid operators. You'll lead initiatives that enhance demand flexibility, evaluate emerging grid technologies, and ensure reliable power delivery across our international data center operations.

What You'll Do

• Develop and implement demand flexibility strategies to optimize power consumption across our data center network
• Lead negotiations and partnerships with utilities, grid operators, and power suppliers
• Evaluate and deploy emerging grid technologies and renewable energy integration solutions
• Manage power procurement processes and contracts to ensure cost efficiency and system reliability
• Analyze energy systems performance and identify opportunities for operational improvement
• Collaborate with engineering teams to align power supply strategies with data center expansion and upgrades
• Support sustainability and carbon reduction goals across our energy portfolio

What We're Looking For

• Proven commercial and technical experience in energy management, power systems, or related infrastructure fields
• Strong understanding of grid operations, utility relationships, and power procurement
• Demonstrated expertise in demand management, energy optimization, or emerging grid technologies
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical complexity and business objectives
• Experience working in large-scale infrastructure or data center environments is a plus
