About the Role
As a new graduate Registered Nurse, you'll provide direct patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and develop clinical competencies under experienced mentorship. This is your opportunity to translate classroom learning into hands-on practice while building the foundational skills that define your nursing career.
What You'll Do
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, documenting observations and changes in patient status
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols
- Communicate with patients and families about their care, fostering trust and addressing concerns
- Collaborate with doctors, respiratory therapists, social workers, and other team members on comprehensive care plans
- Maintain accurate, timely medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA and facility standards
- Respond to patient needs and support unit operations in a fast-paced clinical environment
What We're Looking For
- Recent graduate from an accredited nursing program who has completed all degree requirements
- Current RN licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in South Carolina
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and ask for guidance when needed
- Commitment to patient safety and quality care
- Interest in clinical specialties including medical-surgical nursing, urology, neurology, gastroenterology, oncology, telemetry, or progressive care
