CVS Health seeks an accomplished Lead Director of Network Compliance & Regulation to drive healthcare compliance excellence across the Northeast region from our Augusta, Kennebec County office. In this full-time leadership role, you'll build and oversee a comprehensive compliance function that ensures our pharmacy and healthcare networks meet all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements while supporting operational excellence.
About the Role
As Lead Director of Network Compliance & Regulation, you're responsible for establishing the regulatory and compliance direction for CVS Health's network operations in the Northeast. You'll manage complex relationships with state pharmacy boards, CMS, and federal agencies, translate regulatory requirements into actionable compliance programs, and lead teams through rapid policy changes. Your work directly protects CVS Health's reputation and enables seamless healthcare delivery to millions of customers across the region.
What You'll Do
- Design and oversee network compliance programs that align with CMS, state pharmacy regulations, and federal healthcare laws
- Build and mentor compliance teams, establishing standards and accountability for regulatory adherence
- Serve as primary regulatory liaison for state boards, federal agencies, and other governing bodies
- Conduct compliance audits, identify gaps, and implement corrective action plans
- Develop compliance policies, training programs, and operational procedures for network partners
- Monitor emerging regulatory trends and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership
- Report on compliance metrics and risk assessments to executive leadership and governance committees
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of experience in healthcare compliance, regulatory affairs, or network operations leadership
- Expertise in federal and state pharmacy regulations, healthcare network requirements, and CMS compliance
- Proven ability to manage regulatory relationships and navigate complex compliance landscapes
- Track record leading teams through organizational change in highly regulated environments
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, law, or related field (master's degree preferred)
- Strong strategic planning, analytical, and communication skills
