About the Role

As a Senior Associate with Security Clearance in this Alexandria-based role, you'll serve as a trusted advisor to government stakeholders, managing audit initiatives, strengthening internal controls, and ensuring financial operations meet federal standards. Your expertise will directly support mission-critical compliance and accountability efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit response and remediation processes in compliance with federal standards and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Design, evaluate, and enhance internal control systems for accounting and financial functions
• Collaborate directly with government Points of Contact throughout audit planning and execution phases
• Prepare comprehensive financial statements, analyses, and documentation for government review
• Identify control deficiencies and recommend targeted improvements to operations and processes

What You Bring

• Current or eligible security clearance at the appropriate federal level
• Advanced knowledge of federal audit procedures, GAAP requirements, and government compliance frameworks
• Proven track record delivering complex audit and internal control projects with federal clients
• Exceptional analytical capabilities and precision in financial and compliance documentation
• Clear communication skills for explaining technical findings to diverse audiences
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; CPA, CIA, or CISA certification strongly preferred
