About the Role
ATC West Healthcare is seeking an RN Psych for per diem shifts at a prominent Anaheim area healthcare facility. This on-call position provides the flexibility of temporary assignments in a psychiatric care setting, perfect for nurses seeking schedule control or seeking to expand their clinical experience in behavioral health.
What You'll Do
- Provide direct patient care in psychiatric and behavioral health settings
- Assess, monitor, and document patient status during 12-hour day shifts
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team on patient treatment and care planning
- Maintain safe and therapeutic environments for patients in acute psychiatric care
- Respond to patient needs and behavioral concerns with professional clinical judgment
What We're Looking For
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience or demonstrated willingness in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in acute care environments
- Flexibility and reliability for per diem scheduling
