About the Role

As a Caregiver with Oak Wood Home Care Agency, you'll provide essential personal care and companionship to clients in their homes. Bilingual caregivers (Spanish and English) are especially encouraged to apply, as language skills help us better serve our diverse client community.

What You'll Do

• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
• Help clients with mobility and transfers, using proper body mechanics and safety techniques
• Monitor and support medication schedules as directed
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment for your client
• Prepare meals and assist with nutrition needs
• Report on client status and communicate with supervisors and family members

What We're Looking For

• Genuine compassion for helping others and commitment to client dignity and respect
• Ability to work independently while following care plans and company policies
• Physical capability to assist with personal care and light mobility tasks
• Strong communication skills and reliability
• Spanish language proficiency is highly valued
• Previous caregiving, home health aide, or related healthcare experience is a plus
