Position Summary

Target is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Specialty Sales Team Leader for our North Hill location. In this full-time role, you'll oversee a specialty sales team, managing day-to-day operations, mentoring team members, and executing strategies that drive revenue growth. You'll combine hands-on leadership with strategic planning, ensuring your team consistently delivers outstanding customer service while meeting ambitious sales targets in a collaborative retail environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor a team of specialty sales associates to achieve sales goals and performance benchmarks
• Monitor and analyze sales metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement data-driven strategies
• Deliver expert product knowledge and consultative guidance to customers, fostering long-term relationships
• Manage inventory control, merchandise presentation, and promotional execution to maximize sales potential
• Conduct team performance reviews, provide coaching, and support continuous professional development
• Collaborate with store leadership to align specialty department initiatives with company objectives
• Maintain a positive, inclusive team culture and represent Target's values through daily actions

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience managing retail or specialty sales teams
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals
• Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate others
• Customer-centric approach with expertise in consultative selling and relationship management
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and work flexible hours as needed
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and retail management platforms
• High school diploma or equivalent; retail or team management certification or equivalent experience preferred
