Join the Dollar General team in Sebree, Webster County as an Assistant Store Manager and help us deliver excellent service to our community. This is a full-time position where you'll play a key role in supporting store operations and leading our team to success.

About the Role

As Assistant Store Manager, you'll support the Store Manager in driving store performance, maintaining a positive work environment, and ensuring our customers receive exceptional service every time they visit. You'll be an essential part of our store leadership team, working together to meet sales goals and operational standards while building a strong, engaged team.

What You'll Do

• Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and team activities
• Lead, supervise, and develop store associates, ensuring excellent customer service and operational excellence
• Manage store opening and closing procedures, including security, cash handling, and inventory verification
• Maintain inventory accuracy and assist with merchandise stocking, displays, and store conditions
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and loss prevention practices
• Support the hiring, training, and coaching of store team members
• Help drive sales targets and profitability while maintaining quality service standards
• Address customer concerns professionally and foster a welcoming shopping experience

What We're Looking For

• Must be 20 years of age or older
• Retail or supervisory experience preferred
• Strong leadership and team-building skills
• Excellent customer service abilities and interpersonal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, responsible, and committed to showing up on time
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn and grow
• Comfortable with point-of-sale systems and basic math
