SabCon Underground is seeking a full-time Directional Drill Foreman in Dover, Hillsborough County. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for an experienced professional ready to oversee directional drilling projects from start to finish.
About the Role
As Directional Drill Foreman, you'll oversee individual directional drilling projects to ensure safe, compliant installation that meets all contract specifications. You'll direct your crew on active job sites, upholding the highest standards of workmanship and safety. Leading with integrity and dependability, you'll coordinate daily operations, resolve on-site challenges, and maintain consistent quality across all drilling activities. Compensation for this position is $24–$35.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of directional drilling project execution to guarantee safe and compliant installation
- Direct and supervise crew members, maintaining productivity and adherence to procedures
- Verify all work meets contract specifications and quality standards
- Enforce safety protocols and industry best practices on every job site
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain timelines
- Inspect equipment daily and communicate maintenance requirements
Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience as a Directional Drill Foreman or in an equivalent supervisory drilling role
- Deep technical knowledge of directional drilling equipment, methods, and underground utility installation
- Proven ability to lead crews, manage multiple priorities, and make decisions under pressure
- Strong grasp of safety requirements, OSHA regulations, and industry standards
- Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency reading technical drawings and interpreting contract documentation
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as work requires
