About the Role
As a Residential Construction Superintendent with David Weekley Homes, you'll oversee the day-to-day operations of active construction projects across the Salt Lake City and Davis County area. This hands-on leadership role requires you to balance quality craftsmanship, project timelines, and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with building codes and safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Manage subcontractors and trade partners throughout all phases of residential construction
- Conduct inspections and quality reviews to maintain David Weekley Homes' construction standards
- Coordinate project scheduling, material deliveries, and labor resources
- Ensure OSHA compliance and maintain a safe job site environment
- Communicate with customers regarding progress, timelines, and any project updates
- Document construction milestones and maintain accurate project records
- Troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges to keep projects moving forward
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a construction superintendent or similar leadership role
- Strong knowledge of residential construction processes and building codes
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple subcontractors and trade crews
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

- Ability to work on-site across Davis County projects near Salt Lake City
