Role Overview

As an inpatient CT specialist at our Westover facility, you'll operate advanced imaging systems to produce high-resolution scans of patient anatomy, working closely with radiologists and clinical teams to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. This full-time position requires technical precision, patient-centered care, and a commitment to departmental safety and efficiency standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and position inpatients for CT scanning procedures, explaining protocols to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation
• Operate CT scanning equipment according to established clinical protocols and manufacturer specifications
• Monitor patients during scans; respond appropriately to patient needs and report concerns to clinical staff
• Maintain image quality standards through proper technique, equipment maintenance, and quality assurance testing
• Document patient information, scan parameters, and imaging findings in the electronic health record system
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols, including proper use of protective equipment and dose optimization
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and physicians to address clinical questions and support diagnostic accuracy

What You Bring

• Current certification as a CT Technologist (ARRT-CT) or equivalent state credential
• Technical knowledge of CT physics, imaging protocols, and equipment operation
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients and clinical teams
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced inpatient environment
• Physical capability to lift patients and stand for extended periods
