About the Role

As Store Manager at our Horseheads location, you'll oversee all aspects of store operations while leading a team dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service. This role combines strategic business management with hands-on leadership—you'll shape the store's performance, culture, and reputation in the Chemung County community.

What You'll Do

• Lead, train, and mentor store staff through effective coaching, scheduling, and performance management
• Drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets through merchandising strategy and promotional execution
• Manage inventory, purchasing, and stock organization to maximize availability and minimize shrink
• Oversee daily operations including cash handling, loss prevention, compliance, and opening/closing procedures
• Build a welcoming, branded in-store environment that reflects our company values
• Monitor sales trends and operational metrics to make informed business decisions

What We're Looking For

• Demonstrated retail management experience with proven sales and operational results
• Strong leadership ability—you motivate teams, set clear expectations, and drive accountability
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and comfort with retail analytics
• Organized, detail-oriented, and skilled at managing multiple priorities
• Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings and weekends

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly rate is $23.00–$23.25, based on your qualifications and background.
