Denny's is hiring a full-time Host/Hostess at our Trammells location in Harris County. As a Host/Hostess, you'll be the first and last face our guests encounter, setting the tone for their entire dining experience. This is a customer-focused role perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys making people feel welcome.

As Host/Hostess, you're the ambassador who greets our visitors with warmth, manages our seating, and keeps our dining room running smoothly. You'll work alongside our serving and kitchen teams to create an environment where guests feel valued and cared for—that's the Denny's difference.

What You'll Do

• Greet all guests promptly and courteously at the host stand
• Manage the wait list and communicate accurate wait times to guests
• Seat guests promptly in a manner that optimizes server productivity and guest comfort
• Answer phones professionally and handle reservation requests
• Maintain a clean, welcoming host area and restaurant entry
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Assist with bussing tables and clearing when needed during peak hours
• Follow all company policies and health and safety guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Friendly, outgoing personality with genuine passion for hospitality
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and professional during busy service periods
• Reliability and punctuality—we count on you to show up consistently
• Basic math skills for managing reservations and table assignments
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Restaurant or customer service experience is a plus but not required
