About the Role

As an Admitting Clerk, you'll serve as the gateway to our healthcare services, managing patient admissions, registrations, and intake processes with accuracy and care. What You'll Do

• Process patient admissions and registrations efficiently, capturing accurate demographic and medical information
• Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility to support timely claims processing
• Conduct financial counseling conversations to explain patient responsibilities and payment options
• Maintain precise medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA and facility standards
• Greet and assist patients with a professional, compassionate demeanor
• Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams to facilitate seamless patient flow
• Answer patient questions and direct inquiries to appropriate departments
• Support facility policies, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency with computer systems, medical software, and electronic health records (EHR)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment

• Knowledge of insurance verification and basic medical billing (preferred)
