What You'll Do
- Assess patients at admission and throughout their rehabilitation stay, monitoring vital signs and clinical status
- Develop and execute individualized care plans collaboratively with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team
- Administer medications and therapeutic interventions according to established clinical protocols
- Perform evidence-based nursing interventions including wound care, pain management, and catheter management
- Educate patients and families on rehabilitation progress, self-care strategies, and discharge planning
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic health records
- Advocate for patient needs while promoting functional independence and recovery
What We're Looking For
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license (RN) in West Virginia
- Current BLS CPR certification
- Experience in acute care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care nursing
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced team environment
