About the Role

As an AI Engineer Manager in PwC's Tampa office, you'll oversee the development of scalable data and analytics engineering solutions that convert raw data into strategic business advantages. You'll work with cross-functional teams and clients across industries, applying advanced techniques and architectures to solve problems at scale. This role balances hands-on technical contribution with team leadership, mentoring, and strategic project direction.

What You'll Do

• Lead AI and data engineering initiatives from discovery through deployment, ensuring solutions meet performance and business requirements
• Architect robust, scalable data pipelines and analytics systems that integrate seamlessly with client environments
• Guide technical strategy, recommend emerging tools and methodologies, and drive adoption of engineering best practices
• Mentor and develop engineers on your team, fostering technical growth and collaborative problem-solving
• Partner with clients to translate business challenges into engineered solutions and measurable outcomes
• Conduct code reviews, establish technical standards, and ensure solution quality across the team
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and stakeholders to refine requirements and validate delivery

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or AI/ML systems design
• Proven track record leading or mentoring technical teams and managing complex projects
• Strong expertise in modern data technologies, cloud platforms, and engineering best practices
• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience designing solutions that operate reliably in production at scale
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent professional experience
• Up to 60% travel may be required to support client engagements
