Contracts Manager

Role Overview

As Contracts Manager at CGI Technologies and Solutions, Inc., you'll play a key role in managing the complete contract lifecycle for our organization. This position involves developing contract strategies, negotiating terms, maintaining compliance, and ensuring all agreements align with company objectives and legal requirements. Primarily based in Fairfax, Virginia, this role may also involve work at our Huntsville, Alabama location. You'll work with cross-functional teams to support CGI's mission of providing trusted technology and consulting services.

Responsibilities

• Manage contract development, review, and execution across various departments and client engagements
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, vendors, and partners to protect company interests
• Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
• Monitor contract performance and adherence to agreed-upon terms and deliverables
• Maintain comprehensive contract documentation and records for audit and reference purposes
• Collaborate with legal, finance, operations, and business development teams to streamline processes
• Track important dates, milestones, and renewal deadlines to prevent lapses or missed opportunities
• Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, law, management, or related field
• 5+ years of progressive experience in contracts management or legal administration
• Demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, drafting, and administration
• Strong knowledge of contract law and regulatory compliance
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and analytical capabilities
