IT Support Technician (Part-time)

CGI Technologies and Solutions, Inc. is hiring an IT Support Technician on a full-time basis to join our Service Desk team in Troy, Pike County. About the Role

As an IT Support Technician in our Service Desk and End User Services department, you'll be the first line of support for technology users across our organization. Your technical troubleshooting skills and user-focused approach will ensure employees have reliable access to the IT systems they depend on to perform their work.

What You'll Do

• Receive and respond to technology support requests through our helpdesk ticketing system
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Provide clear technical guidance and user training on company IT systems and tools
• Install, configure, and manage end-user devices and peripherals
• Create and maintain documentation of support interactions and solutions
• Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff and collaborate on resolution
• Enforce IT security policies and ensure users follow company technology guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience in helpdesk support, IT support, or similar technical support role
• Solid understanding of Windows and/or macOS operating systems
• Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting, software support, and network basics
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse user audiences
• Patient problem-solver with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to document clearly and work efficiently within ticket systems
• IT industry certification such as CompTIA A+ or Network+ is a plus
