About the Role

This Occupational Therapist position offers the chance to deliver direct clinical care and evidence-based interventions to adults with physical disabilities, age-related frailty, and complex support needs. You'll combine clinical assessment with practical solutions, working to enhance safety, dignity, and independence for each person you serve. What You'll Do

  • Conduct comprehensive functional assessments to identify support needs for adults with disabilities and complex conditions
  • Recommend and prescribe adaptive equipment tailored to safe mobility and independent living
  • Assess home environments and advise on structural adaptations to support client safety and autonomy
  • Coordinate with physiotherapists, social workers, and community partners to deliver integrated care
  • Maintain detailed, accurate clinical records and professional reporting aligned with regulatory standards
  • Manage and prioritize your caseload strategically in response to service priorities and client needs
  • Participate in safeguarding and risk assessment processes as part of your statutory responsibilities

What We're Looking For

  • Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist
  • Demonstrated experience in community-based occupational therapy practice
  • Expert knowledge of moving and handling principles, equipment assessment, and home modifications
  • Proficiency in clinical documentation and reporting to professional standards
  • Driving license is helpful but not required
