District Sales Manager

The Guitar Center Company is seeking a District Sales Manager to lead its retail operations in Puy, Pierce County, overseeing multiple store locations and driving sales performance. This full‑time position focuses on coaching store teams, meeting revenue targets, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for every customer.

About the Role

As a District Sales Manager, you will act as the link between corporate strategy and store‑level execution. You will support store managers in developing talent, implementing merchandising standards, and achieving key performance indicators that align with the company’s growth objectives.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and analyze sales data for each location to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Conduct regular store visits to assess visual merchandising, inventory levels, and customer service quality.
• Develop and deliver training programs that enhance associate skills and prepare high‑potential employees for leadership roles.
• Collaborate with regional leaders to set realistic sales goals and create action plans that drive consistent results.
• Foster a store environment where associates feel motivated, customers feel welcomed, and operational standards are upheld.
• Handle escalated customer concerns and work with store teams to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and loss‑prevention procedures across the district.

What We're Looking For

• Proven success in multi‑unit retail management, preferably within the music‑instrument or consumer‑electronics sector.
• Strong ability to coach, mentor, and develop store managers and associates.
• Excellent analytical skills, with experience using sales‑tracking tools and performance dashboards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to build relationships with both internal teams and customers.
• Demonstrated track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets while maintaining operational excellence.
• Flexibility to travel regularly within the Puy, Pierce County area and occasionally to regional meetings.
• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
