About This Position

As a Life Coach in Tailored Day Services, you'll serve as a dedicated mentor and advocate for program participants. You'll develop trusting relationships that help individuals recognize their strengths, set meaningful goals, and build skills to achieve them. Your impact extends across multiple life domains—daily routines, social engagement, community involvement, and vocational exploration. You'll work collaboratively with our clinical and support team, maintain detailed progress documentation, and actively seek ways to enhance each person's autonomy and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide individuals in identifying and pursuing personal, vocational, and lifestyle objectives
• Coordinate and facilitate activities that promote learning, community participation, and social connection
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with participants and their families
• Partner with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, person-centered care
• Document participant progress and outcomes with accuracy and attention to detail
• Support skill-building in areas including daily living, problem-solving, and self-advocacy
• Identify and facilitate community integration opportunities
• Adapt approaches to meet evolving participant needs with flexibility and creativity

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED
• Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, mental health conditions, or comparable backgrounds preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
• Genuine empathy and demonstrated commitment to supporting others' growth
• Capacity to function both independently and effectively within a team
• Solid organizational and time-management skills
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation for community-based work
• Openness to pursuing relevant training and professional development
