William & Mary is seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Fellow of Physics in Experimental Particle Physics to conduct advanced research at our campus in Williamsburg, Virginia. This is a fixed-term, benefited position ideal for recent Ph.D. holders ready to lead independent research in particle physics.
About the Role
As a Postdoctoral Fellow in Experimental Particle Physics, you will conduct original research investigating fundamental particles and forces. Working within our physics department, you'll contribute to experimental investigations that advance our understanding of the universe at its smallest scales.
What You'll Do
- Design, execute, and oversee experimental research in particle physics
- Collect, analyze, and interpret large datasets from particle detection systems
