Part-Time Video & Social Producer

Join Pear-vc as a Part-Time Video & Social Producer in Orange County, where you'll create and edit compelling short-form video content to grow executive presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and TikTok. This is a hands-on production role combining weekly on-site shooting in San Clemente with remote editing work—real work, not an internship setup.

About the Role

You'll join a lean content team that powers video storytelling for a growing voice in the e-commerce and operations space. This position works directly with the Head of Content (based remotely) and your executive subject on-location, producing polished short-form content on a strict weekly cadence. The role is contract-based, part-time (10–15 hours per week), with genuine scheduling flexibility. You'll need to be within driving distance of San Clemente to handle weekly on-site hours; all other production and editing work happens remotely.

Responsibilities

• Edit podcast episodes into concise, high-paced short-form clips sized and optimized for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Shoot on-location B-roll and interview footage during weekly on-site production days
• Develop and maintain a growing library of vertical video assets tailored to each platform's unique format and audience expectations
• Coordinate content delivery to meet weekly publishing schedules and editorial calendars

Skills & Qualifications

• Active experience with video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or equivalent)
• Demonstrable portfolio showing your editing judgment: pacing, cut timing, and visual storytelling
• Strong understanding of short-form video platforms and what performs on each (TikTok, Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn native video)
• Background in film, communications, marketing, media studies, or equivalent hands-on editing experience
• Able to work independently within content calendars and deliver on tight deadlines
• Currently within or willing to relocate near San Clemente for weekly on-site production
