About the Role

This full‑time position sits at the heart of our Petsense department, supporting daily store operations while creating a welcoming experience for pet owners and their companions.

What You'll Do

• Greet customers, assess their pet care needs, and recommend appropriate products from food to accessories.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels by stocking shelves, rotating merchandise, and performing regular cycle counts.
• Process transactions at the register, handle returns, and ensure all cash handling follows company procedures.
• Assist with visual merchandising, setting up promotional displays, and keeping the sales floor tidy and inviting.
• Collaborate with teammates to achieve sales goals, participate in training sessions, and share product knowledge.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment in accordance with Tractor Supply standards.

What We're Looking For

• Strong interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for helping pet owners and their animals.
• Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced retail setting while staying attentive to detail.
• Basic math proficiency for processing payments and managing inventory counts.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred but not required; we provide comprehensive on‑the‑job training.
• Reliability, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn about pet nutrition, health, and care.
