About the Role
As an Urban English Linguist, you will contribute to language research and analysis initiatives that examine contemporary English usage in urban communities. This role supports essential services work, with scheduling that adapts to project demand. When assigned to active projects, you will commit to completion and may work up to 40 hours per week during active assignments.

- Conduct linguistic analysis of urban English patterns, variation, and usage
- Document and analyze language data from community contexts
- Support fieldwork, transcription, or research activities as assigned
- Contribute to linguistic documentation and reporting efforts
- Collaborate with research teams on project deliverables
- Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in language analysis work
