Events Marketing Manager (Remote)

Cengage Group is hiring a full-time Events Marketing Manager to join its team remotely, with this position open to candidates based in Boise, Ada County and across the US.

What You'll Do

• Own end-to-end planning and execution of virtual, in-person, and hybrid marketing events including trade shows, conferences, webinars, and field programs
• Develop event-specific marketing campaigns — pre-event promotion, on-site engagement, and post-event follow-up — to maximize attendance and lead generation
• Coordinate logistics with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and agency partners to keep projects on schedule and within scope
• Build and manage event timelines, run-of-show documents, and cross-functional project plans
• Track event performance metrics, analyze results, and present ROI findings to marketing leadership
• Collaborate with demand generation, content, and product marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging across all event touchpoints
• Maintain event calendars and manage multiple concurrent programs without sacrificing quality

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in event marketing, field marketing, or experiential marketing — ideally within education, SaaS, or a related industry
• Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle competing deadlines in a remote work environment
• Comfort working with marketing automation platforms and CRM tools to track event leads and measure campaign impact
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for brand-consistent messaging
• A collaborative, self-directed work style suited to distributed teams
• Willingness to travel occasionally for key events and on-site support
