About the Role
We're seeking CDL-A drivers with 1–5 months of OTR experience to build a stable long-haul career running consistent, planned freight routes. As a solo driver with U.S. Xpress, you'll operate no-touch freight in our dry van fleet, averaging around 2,000 miles weekly with a proven home time rotation that lets you actually plan your personal life around your driving schedule.
What You'll Do
- Haul freight across the United States on established, predictable routes
- Operate company-maintained dry van equipment safely and professionally
- Handle no-touch freight exclusively, eliminating unpredictable dock delays
- Maintain consistent compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Build relationships with dispatch and logistics teams for seamless operations
What We're Looking For
- Valid CDL-A license with 1–5 months of over-the-road driving experience
- Clean driving record and willingness to pass safety screening

Compensation & Benefits
Drivers earn 52–56 cents per mile depending on experience, with strong weekly mileage. Top performers in our fleet earn $1,500+ weekly. We offer a $2,000 sign-on bonus, paid vacation, performance bonuses, and a proven schedule: 28 days on the road, then 5 days home—repeating. Freight is consistent and planned, so you know what to expect each week.
