About the Role
Join a healthcare facility in Mount Vernon, Skagit County, as a Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services. This full-time position provides 40 hours per week on a day shift schedule, ensuring consistent daytime hours and predictable scheduling throughout your contract.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast agents following established safety protocols
- Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment including gamma cameras and SPECT systems to capture diagnostic images
- Position patients safely and optimize imaging outcomes through proper technique and patient communication
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations
- Follow strict radiation safety protocols and equipment quality control procedures
- Assist physicians during diagnostic procedures and collaborate with clinical staff
What We're Looking For
- Current ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Valid state license as a Radiologic Technologist where required
- Proven clinical experience in nuclear medicine imaging
- Strong knowledge of radiopharmaceutical safety and handling
- Excellent patient care skills and ability to work collaboratively
- Professional approach to travel healthcare assignments
