What You'll Do
- Continuously monitor patient vital signs and clinical condition before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
- Promptly identify and report any changes in patient status to the interventional cardiology team
- Administer medications and intravenous therapies per physician orders
- Prepare, operate, and maintain catheterization laboratory equipment and supplies
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient care documentation in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families, providing reassurance throughout procedures
- Work collaboratively with cardiologists, technologists, and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (cardiac specialty or acute care preferred)
- Demonstrated competency with cardiac monitoring equipment and EHR systems
- Strong clinical assessment and communication abilities
- Comfort working 8-hour shifts, full-time (40 hours per week)
- Professional flexibility and adaptability in a travel assignment role
