About the Role
As a PACU Travel Nurse in Sandy Springs, you'll care for patients recovering from anesthesia during the critical post-procedural window. This is a full-time, on-site travel contract spanning 14 weeks, built on 12-hour shifts totaling roughly 36 hours each week, with an immediate (ASAP) start date.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough peri-procedural patient assessments before, during, and after anesthesia recovery.
- Accurately chart and document all nursing care, observations, and interventions delivered.
- Coordinate patient flow and recovery alongside surgical, anesthesia, and clinical teams.
- Monitor vital signs and respond promptly to changes in patient condition in the post-anesthetic setting.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license eligible to practice in Georgia.
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience.
- Proven background in PACU or post-anesthetic care nursing.
- Availability for 12-hour shifts and flexibility to begin the assignment immediately.
