Build the skills for this role
Core stack for this title: active RN license, supervisory judgment, staffing/acuity tools, conflict de-escalation, and clear written incident and handoff documentation. No cert family or course list is supplied in CERTS for this posting.
Be ready to walk through how you staff a high-acuity shift, handle a patient or family crisis, and coordinate with charge nurses at a large teaching hospital. Prepare one example of throughput or safety improvement and how you supported nurses after a difficult event.
Strong fit if you are an experienced RN who prefers system-level coordination over a single unit’s bedside assignment, and who can lead calmly in a busy tertiary CT hospital environment. Less ideal if you want remote work (this role is on-site) or pure clinical practice without administrative load.
