About the Role
We're seeking skilled maintenance technicians to support our expanding operations throughout the San Diego area. As a member of the Good Life Maintenance team, you'll be responsible for the hands-on work that keeps our clients' rental properties safe, functional, and attractive to tenants. This role offers a clear career path with advancement opportunities from Technician Level I through Level III, depending on experience and expertise.
What You'll Do
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on residential properties
- Execute repairs and maintenance tasks including HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and general building systems
- Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely manner
- Communicate professionally with property owners and tenants
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices
- Troubleshoot problems and identify solutions independently
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in residential property maintenance or a related trade
- Proficiency with hand and power tools
- Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general carpentry fundamentals
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple requests
- Commitment to quality workmanship and customer service
