About the Role
As a paraprofessional or RBT, you'll provide direct classroom support to K-12 students, implementing instruction, reinforcing learning objectives, and fostering positive behaviors. Your daily contributions will help individual students succeed academically and socially while supporting overall classroom effectiveness.
What You'll Do
- Deliver instructional and behavioral support to assigned students in K-12 classrooms
- Help implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention strategies
- Track and document student progress for teachers and school specialists to review
- Support classroom management and help maintain an inclusive learning environment
- Work closely with teachers to adjust support based on emerging student needs
- Foster positive communication between the school, families, and support staff
