Occupational Therapist (OT) – Florida School-Based

Princeton Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full‑time, school‑based position in White Springs, Hamilton County, supporting students across the Lake City, FL area.

About the Role

This W2 contract role runs for the 2026‑2027 school year and involves delivering occupational therapy services to K‑12 learners in a public‑school setting. The position requires an in‑person commitment of 37.5 hours per week, providing direct support that helps students achieve academic and functional goals.

What You'll Do

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized education program (IEP) goals.
• Provide evidence‑based therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor, sensory processing, self‑care, and classroom participation skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to integrate therapy strategies into daily classroom routines.
• Maintain accurate documentation of progress notes, session data, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to transition planning as needed.
• Adhere to professional ethics and engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) in Florida.
• Preferred experience working in a school‑based or pediatric environment with K‑12 populations.
• Strong knowledge of OT assessment tools, intervention techniques, and IEP processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with educators and families.
• Ability to manage a caseload independently while working within a team framework.
• Commitment to delivering services for 37.5 hours per week on an in‑person basis.
• Willingness to accept a W2 local or travel contract for the 2026‑2027 school year.
