About the Role

Kreyco is seeking an experienced, committed educator to lead self-contained special education instruction. You'll work directly with students requiring specialized academic, social-emotional, and behavioral support within a dedicated classroom setting. This role focuses on tailored instruction that meets individual learning goals and builds student confidence and independence.

What You'll Do

• Deliver individualized, standards-aligned instruction in core academic subjects adapted to each student's IEP goals
• Create an inclusive, structured classroom environment that supports academic progress and positive behavior
• Develop and implement behavior management strategies and social skills instruction
• Collaborate with special education specialists, administrators, and families to monitor student progress
• Maintain detailed records of student achievement and communicate regularly with parents and guardians
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of your classroom

What We're Looking For

• Current New Jersey teacher certification or eligibility in special education
• Demonstrated experience teaching students with diverse disabilities and learning profiles
• Strong knowledge of differentiated instruction and evidence-based special education practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with students, families, and school staff
• Commitment to creating an affirming, respectful learning environment for all students
• Passion for student success and willingness to collaborate within a team-oriented school community
