The Position
As a part-time language teacher with Kreyco, you'll bring your expertise in Spanish, Italian, French, Latin, American Sign Language, or Chinese/Mandarin to preK-12 students in the Menlo Park area. This role offers scheduling flexibility while allowing you to directly support student language proficiency and cultural learning.
What You'll Do
- Deliver engaging language instruction aligned with your subject matter expertise
- Develop curriculum and lesson plans that meet student learning objectives
- Assess student progress and adapt instructional strategies based on learner needs
- Maintain regular communication with school partners regarding student achievement
- Create an inclusive learning environment that celebrates linguistic and cultural diversity
- Support Kreyco's mission of strengthening school-teacher partnerships across preK-12 education
What We're Looking For
- Certification, licensure, or demonstrated expertise in your language subject area (Spanish, Italian, French, Latin, American Sign Language, or Chinese/Mandarin)
- Experience teaching language to preK-12 students
- Genuine passion for student achievement and language learning outcomes
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Reliability and flexibility for part-time scheduling arrangements
