Kreyco is hiring a part-time Special Education Self-Contained Instruction teacher in Emerald Hills, San Mateo County for the 2026-2027 school year. We're seeking a dedicated educator to support students with diverse learning needs through individualized, high-quality instruction.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized, differentiated instruction tailored to each student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
• Assess student progress regularly and document learning outcomes
• Collaborate with special education staff, general education teachers, and support personnel
• Create a structured, inclusive classroom environment that fosters academic growth and social development
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and educational goals
• Implement evidence-based teaching strategies for students with various disabilities
• Maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements

What You Bring

• Valid California teaching credential with special education authorization (or equivalent qualification)
• Demonstrated experience teaching students with disabilities in a self-contained or resource setting
• Strong knowledge of IEP development, assessment, and instructional planning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive learning environment
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and families
