Scientist III – Analytical Chemistry and Molecular Biology – FSP

Parexel is seeking an experienced Scientist III - Analytical Chemistry and Molecular Biology to join our Functional Service Provider (FSP) team on a long-term, full-time assignment supporting one of our pharmaceutical clients. This is an onsite, employee position based out of Jackson, Hinds County.

About the Role

As a Scientist III specializing in analytical chemistry and molecular biology, you will contribute directly to client-embedded laboratory work as a full-time Parexel FSP employee. The role centers on supporting high-throughput, pre-formulation, and pre-qualification activities that advance early-stage development programs. Please note that this opportunity does not provide visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Support high-throughput screening and pre-formulation laboratory workflows within the client's research environment.
• Carry out pre-qualification studies that inform downstream development decisions.
• Apply analytical chemistry and molecular biology techniques to characterize samples and generate reliable data.
• Document experimental work accurately and in line with established quality and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional client teams to keep scientific projects moving on schedule.

Qualifications

• A strong scientific background in analytical chemistry, molecular biology, or a closely related discipline.
• Hands-on laboratory experience, ideally within pharmaceutical or biotech development settings.
• Familiarity with high-throughput and pre-formulation methodologies is highly valued.
• Careful attention to detail, strong data integrity practices, and clear scientific documentation skills.
• Authorization to work without sponsorship, and willingness to work onsite as a full-time employee.
