About the Role
This travel SLP position in Salisbury, Wicomico County places you on the front lines of patient care, helping individuals overcome speech, language, communication, and swallowing challenges. As a Travel Speech Language Pathologist with CompHealth, you'll step into a supportive clinical setting where your expertise makes an immediate difference. The assignment is available to begin as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and create individualized treatment plans for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
- Deliver evidence-based therapy and track each patient's progress toward their goals
- Document evaluations, treatment notes, and outcomes in line with facility standards
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and the wider care team to coordinate quality patient care
- Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home strategies
Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license valid in Maryland, or eligibility to obtain one
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
- Completion of an accredited graduate program in Speech-Language Pathology
- Flexibility and adaptability suited to a travel healthcare assignment
- Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach to care
