About the Role
As a Litigation Attorney – Personal Injury Defense, you will represent clients across the full arc of personal injury defense litigation, from initial case assessment through resolution. Based on-site in Dallas, you will be part of a growing firm that also maintains offices in Houston and Austin, giving you exposure to a broad and active caseload. This is a full-time, in-office position built for an attorney who thrives on substantive trial work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury defense cases independently, from intake through trial or settlement.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
- Take and defend depositions and conduct effective fact and expert discovery.
- Develop case strategy and provide sound counsel to clients throughout the litigation process.
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and courtroom proceedings.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the firm's Dallas, Houston, and Austin offices.
Qualifications
- At least 3 years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to personal injury defense.
- Active license to practice law in the State of Texas (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Strong written and oral advocacy skills, including motion practice and depositions.
- Ability to handle a full caseload with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
- A professional, detail-oriented approach and a genuine commitment to client outcomes.
Compensation
This Dallas-based role offers a salary range of $135,000 – $165,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
