Workplace Safety & Facilities Officer

Porsche Asia Pacific is seeking a Workplace Safety & Facilities Officer to join our team in Singapore, Singapore, Singapore. This full-time position is crucial to maintaining a safe, compliant, and well-managed work environment across our operations.

What This Role Involves

As a Workplace Safety & Facilities Officer at Porsche Asia Pacific, you will serve as a key link between our workforce and management, ensuring that our Singapore workplace meets the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role combines health and safety oversight with facilities coordination, requiring someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and genuinely committed to preventing incidents and supporting our team's wellbeing.

Core Duties

• Develop, implement, and maintain workplace safety policies and procedures aligned with Singapore regulations and Porsche's global standards
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of facilities, identifying and documenting hazards
• Coordinate incident investigation and reporting, documenting root causes and recommending corrective actions
• Deliver safety training and induction programmes to employees and contractors
• Manage facilities operations including maintenance scheduling, space allocation, and vendor coordination
• Liaise with external safety and compliance authorities, including regulatory bodies in Singapore
• Monitor and maintain safety equipment, emergency systems, and facility infrastructure
• Prepare reports, statistics, and presentations on safety performance and facilities status for management review

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in occupational health and safety, facilities management, or related discipline
• Proven experience as a safety officer, facilities manager, or equivalent role
• Knowledge of Singapore workplace safety legislation and regulations (WSH Act, MOM requirements)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels
• Proficiency with workplace safety management systems and facilities software
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work independently with sound judgment
• Relevant certifications (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, or local equivalents) are advantageous
