Purchaser (Preowned / Used Car)

Porsche Asia Pacific seeks an experienced Purchaser specialising in preowned and used vehicles for our Singapore-based operations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to drive acquisition strategy and quality standards across our growing preowned vehicle portfolio.

Position Summary

As Purchaser for our Preowned and Used Car division, you will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and acquiring quality preowned vehicles that meet Porsche's exacting standards. You will work directly with suppliers, dealers, and market partners to build a diverse, competitively priced inventory whilst maintaining brand integrity and regulatory compliance throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate preowned and used vehicles from dealerships, auctions, trade-ins, and private sellers across regional markets
• Conduct thorough vehicle condition assessments, mechanical inspections, and valuation analysis to ensure quality and market positioning
• Negotiate purchase terms, pricing, and delivery conditions with suppliers to achieve cost and quality targets
• Manage purchase documentation, regulatory compliance, and title transfers to meet local and regional requirements
• Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and inventory levels to inform sourcing decisions
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key supplier partners and market contacts
• Track purchase performance metrics and report on acquisition activities to senior management

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in automotive purchasing, sourcing, or procurement—ideally with preowned or used vehicle operations
• Solid understanding of vehicle mechanics, condition assessment, and automotive market dynamics
• Strong negotiation and commercial acumen with demonstrated supplier relationship management
• Fluent English proficiency; additional languages an advantage
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to compliance and regulatory standards
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, results-driven environment
• Familiarity with supply chain systems and inventory management tools preferred
